For Immediate Release: Brighton Speedway
Brighton Speedway is please to announce the Lawns We Do 360 Sprint BSP Sprint Car Series presented by Dibbits Landscape Supply. This series will consist of four race events at Brighton Speedway and will be held on July 15th, August 5th, September 2nd and 3rd. The first three events will all pay $2000.00 to win and $300.00 to start. The Labour Day Classic Sunday event will pay $2,500.00 to win and $325.00 to start.
Thanks to long time sponsors Lawns We Do and Dibbits Landscape Supply for supporting this four-race series we will have a minimum points fund paid of $7,000.00 paying out to the top ten participants in points at the close of the Labour Day Classic double header. Brighton Speedway management would like to thank these sponsors for their support and are actively recruiting additional sponsors to hopefully increase this points fund.
The new SOS leadership informed Brighton Speedway Management this week that they no longer wanted to compete at Brighton Speedway. However, 360 sprints have always been a big part of racing and a fan favourite at Brighton Speedway since 1997 and will continue now and into the future. From local heroes such a the Joyceville Jet #42 Rick Wilson, #84 Tyler Rand, and #11 Chris Jones, to the invaders from the west such as #0 Glen Styres, #17 Corey Turner, his brother #15 Ryan Turner and #9 Liam Martin, the Sprint Car favourites from across Ontario will continue to duke it out on the shores of Lake Ontario at the Brighton Speedway.
More information on rules, purse and points fund will be posted on a Sprint car page that can be found at BrightonSpeedway.ca/360sprints in the coming days.
Drivers seeking more information can contact promoters at the speedway office or by email to Mark@BrightonSpeedway.com. The tradition of the 360-winged warriors will continue at Brighton Speedway.
