In keeping up with times Brighton Speedway management has recognized that the cost of racing has increased significantly since the pandemic. Especially in terms of cost of tires and fuel for both the race cars and the haulers that get them there. Brighton Speedway is taking steps to help off set some of these rising costs.

These are tough times right now as the world tries to deal with unprecedented inflation. The Speedway is facing these challenges as well but after a successful season in 2022 gives us hope and we are happy to announce a purse increase across all divisions. 2023 marks the first increase since 2019 and Late Models will see a purse increase to $1,000.00 to win and $200 to start weekly. Canadian Modifieds, Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks and Comp 4’s will all see increases through out the full field from first to last and an annual increase in purses of over $80,000.00. The full break down of the 2023 purses will be published in the forth coming rule book.

We recognize even with these increases that racing is still expensive, but we are glad that we can host a venue that provides prize-based winnings while still providing drivers an opportunity to attract sponsors to help them offset the costs of the hobby they love!

Additionally expect some upcoming rules announcements that are focused on saving divers money well racing in the coming days.
