Kart Klub Kickin’ Dust Up for their 4th Event of the 2025 Season

Starting off the night with our Box Stock 1 Feature with Van Dyk #41 bringing us to green. On his outside we saw Rosborough #36 maintaining his spot in second for a few laps before a spinout on turn four caused him to move to the back of the pack. Shortly after the halfway point Rosborough #36 and Van Dyk #41 tried to climb their way back to their original spots but were cut short by checkers on Lap 8. #17 Chatten took the win with McBride #23 pulling up second, Van Dyk #41 almost making it back to his original spot but finishing in third, MacMullen #8 right behind finishing in forth and Rosborough #36 rounding out the top 5.
The pack of 6 in Rookie 1 was led to green by Baldwin in #05jr followed by Dayton #13 to his right side. Dayton had an amazing qualifier which earned her the 2nd starting position but with some swift passing by Fulton #11f, Turner #92, and Lambert #41p she lost a few positions in the feature. Meanwhile, Baldwin held his position throughout the race taking home the checkers with Turner taking second and Lambert taking third in their 4th race of the season.
The Jr Sportsman 1 feature was led by #77 Van Dyk with #29 Walters in the second starting position and #15 De Wal following close in third. Van Dyk tried to hold position, but Walters snagged the lead and held her own fighting off Van Dyk and De Wal for the rest of the feature. Walters took the checkers with Van Dyk taking second and De Wal taking the third spot. This group, while small still puts on a great show for us and we love to see this close battle between the three each Kart Night!
In the Box Stock 2 feature Delbianco #9 brought us to green, to her outside was Gregory #22 who quickly took the top spot leading the group for a good few laps. When an unfortunate spin out caused Gregory to lose some positions the lead was quickly taken over by #79 Cuthbertson. Cuthbertson led us to the final lap taking first with Patterson in the #01 following closely behind. Behind her #7 Kerr took third, our starting leader Delbianco took forth and Gregory #22 rounded out the Box Stock 2 top five.
Seven Rookie 2’s took to the small oval led by #48 Wells. He held his own only losing one spot throughout the 10-lap race. Following him we had #87 Mitts in the second starting position and #101 Patterson in third, Patterson ran a great race snagging the lead from Wells and taking home the checkers. In second, our original race leader #48 Wells, third was Nolasco in the #10ax, forth was the #87 Mitts and finishing our top 5 Rookie 2’s of the night was White in the #47.
The pack of 5 Jr Sportsman 2’s was led to green by McPeak #2, on his outside Gregory in the #01. Gregory held his position throughout the race, but McPeak had an unfortunate run and lost his lead. Black #7 swiftly picked up the lead from him passing Gregory and finishing in the top spot followed by Gregory #01 in second, followed by Ray #08L in third.
The Jr Restricted division saw 5 karts take the track with Davidson #19 bringing them to green followed by Grosse #11. Grosse took the lead and with White #14 moving through the pack and was able to secure the number two spot. The checkered flag was taken by #11 Grosse followed by #14 White, Grimmon #01 took third and a pair of Davidsons rounded out the top five, 31 in forth and 19 in fifth.
The Clone class finished off the night with Mahoney #70 starting in the top spot and to his outside Ellis #89. The pair were passed by #629 McGale but held their starting positions by the end of the race finishing off where they started. McGale was able to take the third spot, and the Massy brothers took forth and fifth with #9 in forth and #99 in fifth.
